Coat of Many Colors

Through coat of many colors shines His light
On all creation made with Father’s Word;
By Spirit’s breath gives each of us His life.

His break of day enlightens every night
With promised Resurrection of our Lord;
Through coat of many colors shines His light.

And we see all His wonders with His sight
As He lives in each one who Him adores;
By Spirit’s breath gives each of us His life.

From ocean’s deepest depth to mountains height
We see Himself in all creation poured;
Through coat of many colors shines His light.

And in it all we see His gracious might
As He slays sin with Michael’s flaming sword;
By Spirit’s breath gives each of us His life.

On heaven’s beam rides Jesus, quells our strife
As welcome we His Word with spirits poor;
Through coat of many colors shines His light–
By Spirit’s breath gives each of us His life.

Mercy’s Mist

Come, Mercy’s Mist, surround me here
That I may purgatory taste
Before I end my earthly time;
Cast out from me my worldly fear
That I through Mist see Jesus’ face
In Consecrated Bread and Wine.

May light through Mist here permeate
And beckon me to His truth see
To guide me on our Savior’s Way;
May Mist lead me to concentrate
On Him who here delights in me
And calls me to eternal day.

May hope arise as Spirit blows
The Mist away with all my sin
And dawn breaks through with heaven’s light;
Then I will only heaven know
As life for me begins again–
With all my family know new life.

Jesus Saves

O Jesus, You are first and last
With no beginning and no end;
From You we understand our past
And that we can begin again.

The likeness of our Adam First
We bear in body and in soul,
An image makes us for You thirst
And long for You to make us whole.

For we in Eve and Adam fell
And lost what we had first been giv’n
And know within the fires of Hell
Our tarnished image must be shriv’n.

And now You come as Adam born,
Yet not from dust but Virgin’s womb;
Unite what we apart had torn
When You rise from an earthly tomb.

In image of You we’re reborn
With body, soul together knit;
No longer are we here forlorn—
Now know we are for heaven fit.

Our unity we know within
Will not be lost when we are raised,
For Resurrection frees from sin:
With soul and body we are saved.

Wholeness In Christ

God’s gifts flow down like gentle rain
     To bathe a thirsty earth;
In Eden’s East comes spring again
     As Spirit brings new birth.

A Garden once more is our home
     If only we can see
The beauty that from His Cross comes
     To set our spirits free.

In union with our bodies now,
     No longer we’re at war;
In peace our bodies, spirits bow
     To Christ who is not far.

His risen life forever here
     Will take us all above;
Our bodies, spirits do not fear
     His healing act of love.

A wholeness we’ll forever know
     As we are raised in Him;
His beauty Eden’s East now shows
     Flows in from Bethlehem.

From Crib to Cross to Open Grave,
     With Eden we’re reborn;
God’s whole creation has been saved:
     Forever Easter Morn!

The Joy of Truth

What is this joy, surpasses pleasure here,
Immerses us in truth we’ve never seen–
‘Twas always there and now dispels our fear
And with it sin as though it’s never been?

How clearly now we can His wisdom see
Wrapped up in beauty that’s seen all around,
And each becomes the one is meant to be,
As heaven’s angels sing their joyful sound.

We enter into joy of Trinity
Who made us all and now redeems each one,
As we before those Three on bended knee
Await the consummation they’ve begun.

Oh, joy! On earth here truth in love we know–
This wisdom Church receives is heaven’s bow.

New Eden’s Fruit

O Lord, come dig my Adam’s roots
     And throw them in Your fire,
Then from Your roots grow my new shoot
     By Spirit’s breath inspired.

In my heart come and dig deep down,
     Connect me to Your Vine,
And make me once again Your ground
     Now watered by Your wine.

Your wine on altar is transformed,
     Becomes Your holy Blood;
To Your life I am then conformed,
     Washed clean in crimson flood.

That river in me will converge
     With stream from Church’s fount
Where Baptized I had been submerged
     Together with my doubts.

Through grace I now believe in You,
     With Father, Spirit one;
Your human life from Mary new
     Makes me adopted son.

Unique new person in me lives,
     Grown from Begotten’s roots,
As through me to the world You give
     Yourself, New Eden’s fruit.

Cleansing Water

His Spirit breathes through water in His fount
In Eden’s East made holy by His Blood
He sheds for us from Cross He freely mounts
To wash our eastern lands in cleansing flood.

He washes all our Adam’s sin away,
Brings to us Second Adam’s risen life
As dawn breaks through our night to bring new day
That’s free of Satan’s wiles and our sin’s strife.

Come, plunge beneath His water, die and rise
With Him, be raised by Father from the dead,
And enter truth that’s free of Satan’s lies,
As with His Body, Blood we all are fed.

We’re welcomed to New Eden raised above:
To heaven taken–are consumed by love.

Eternal Wisdom

Insistent voice in my heart speaks
To name the truth in world I see;
The wholeness that we always seek
Is Wisdom that will always be.

In Trinity we see the seed
Of baby, mother, father here,
The Trinity’s creative deed.
Creation’s heart meant to be clear,

But likeness we with sin besmirch
And cast away inheritance:
Become on earth the Devil’s catch–
To save ourselves we have no chance.

But Jesus came in fam’ly three
In Bethlehem and Nazareth–
Restores us to God’s Trinity:
His Holy Wisdom that is Truth.

River of Light

From His pierced heart His river flows—
A stream of light bathes all the earth—
To wash away the sin we know
And give His paradise new birth.

We long for Eden-born-anew
Through tree and rock from Eden old–
Makes Cross and Stone through which we view
An empty tomb by Him foretold.

Awake is Eden, put to sleep
By poisoned drug from Satan’s tongue,
But he has not the pow’r to keep
Him from descending Jacob’s rungs.

New Eden laughs in Satan’s face
As paradise He for us saves,
And raised with Him the human race
As we ride home on His stream’s wave.

Wisdom Weaved

In us and all His works He wisdom weaves
So we can His works seek to understand,
And when we do, His glory we receive
As holiness is spread throughout the land.

The greatness in us of His works brings awe
As wonder rises in us with His praise,
And we glimpse beauty is behind His law–
Proclaims in Him are always endless days.

In hope concludes all virtue in this life
Whose sum is seen to equal promise made
That He will banish from creation, strife
Brought in when Adam entered Devil’s shade.

His wisdom is His light He weaves in us
From Resurrection poured in hearts that trust.
