O Mary, at your feet we fall
As you teach us to “Father” call
Creator God above,
For He who made His Image all
Through you then came to break sin’s wall
With His Incarnate love.
His Spirit brought our Father’s seed
When you consented to His deed
And bore His only Son.
At your sweet breast His Son did feed
And learned from you God’s Name to heed;
He and “I Am” are One.
And then to His disciples taught
That through you His own Father sought
His sisters, brothers new.
Through your consent salvation wrought;
At Nazareth your will was naught—
God’s Son learned that from you.
Your human will in Garden seen
As your Son from your deed does glean
And says, “Not mine but Yours.”
At Cross you on each other lean,
God’s Son and you, our Heaven’s Queen;
Two human natures pure.
On Easter Resurrection morn
Our human nature is reborn;
Through you we’re raised on high,
Our Heaven’s Queen for us adorned
In righteousness as sin is shorn
From all who with Him die.
A last with you to Heaven come
All those who have in Christ become
Our Father’s children raised.
To us in Christ He says, “Well done;”
Our life in Him has just begun:
His Trinity be praised!
