Three Families

To see the whole, we through a family look
As child with mother, father, mirror Him
Who’s Three-in-One with Son–from Mother took
Our human nature in us had grown dim.

In her restored, Immaculate conceived
Is full of grace where Eden new abounds
In nature she from Him for us received
To give again to Him who gives her crown.

As Queen bestows her favors on us all,
And she with Jesus, Joseph, family three,
Join every fam’ly with those Three who call
To all who will through every family see—

The Father, Son, and Spirit live above
And raise us all to join their Triune love.

JOSEPH’S “YES”

His “yes” came last and made them three—
Protects His Mary and her Son.
Together they form trinity,
A likeness of God’s Three-In-One.

His far off gaze anticipates
The danger to those three will come—
Obeys his angel, never late
‘Till safely in their Naz’reth home.

In their home Mother Mary’s heart
Will order life around their Son–
A model meant for us from start
When Eden family was begun.

Intended were we to live three,
Of mother, father, and their child—
Restored in Holy Fam’ly—see,
Defeated then are Satan’s wiles.

A ROSE IS BORN TO LILY BLUE

In dark of night made dead by Eden’s sin
A Rose of Sharon born to Lily Blue,
And with them Eden will begin again
With life raised from His grave is born anew.

For Sharon’s Rose will pour His life Blood red
From manger to His Cross o’er all the earth,
And with His Body, Blood we all are fed—
Are taken through His grave to our new birth.

So Jesus is the hope of all the world:
Comes in the black as pitch of Eden’s night,
And swaddling clothes will be grave clothes unfurled,
For truth in Him shows forth His heaven’s light.

We celebrate the birth of Sharon’s Rose
To Lily through whom Eden’s dawn now glows.

MARY’S HOLINESS

Seek holiness of heart and life,
And Mary you will find,
For she was first to bring Christ’s light
     To fallen humankind.

His light shined first in Anna’s womb
     When Mary was conceived
To penetrate our eastern gloom:
     His nature she received.

Her sinless nature made her free
     To answer angel, “yes.”
Her holiness we all can see
When we are on a quest—

A quest for holiness ourselves
     As Christ uniquely lives
In each to bring us Mary’s wealth:
     His Nature from her gives.

FROM CARMEL’S MOUNT

From Carmel’s Mount, Elijah calls,
And those with Mary’s heart will hear
God’s Word, with heaven’s mercy falls
In still, small voice—removes all fear.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel knows
The wisdom from above received
On wind through Son from Father blows,
And she is first in Son believes.

We can with her to Mount ascend
When we surrender all we are—
Receive with her what’s always been.
It’s near and never has been far.

CLEAR AS CRYSTAL

As clear as crystal flows that hidden stream
That’s only seen by those are pure of heart,
Who sin renounce and wake from Satan’s dream–
Are open to God’s grace that stream imparts.

From Jesus’ side down heaven’s street it flows
To Eden’s East through open Garden Gate—
Will wisdom bring to hearts who Jesus know
And will, with Mary, Father’s grace await.

For water from His side through Mary breaks,
And all of us are born in Him again
As with salvation He our thirst now slakes
And makes us free in Him from all our sin.

For crystal clear His stream makes all of us
As Spirit flows through Mary’s heart that trusts.

MERCY AND JUSTICE

Her womb an open gate to Paradise
From Eden’s East where sin and death had reigned,
And when we enter we at last can feast
With hearts are cleansed from Eden’s sinful stain.
Behind that gate His justice, mercy meet
When we repent our sins, accept His love,
And bathe in His forgiveness when we greet
His mercy brought from Heaven by His Dove.
Our Father’s justice served by saving death
On Cross by Son–who took our sin on Him,
Is raised in mercy on His Spirit’s breath–
Came forth from Mary’s womb in Bethlehem.
He beckons us with Lazarus’ voice, “Come forth”
From tomb: we come from Mary’s womb new-birthed.

RICH WITH SPIRITS POOR

Your winds Your messengers become
To send your love on angels’ wings,
So Mary can embrace your Son,
And heaven will her praises sing.

With “Yes” receives she Him who comes
To save us all from Satan’s lie,
And Satan’s cords ’round us undone,
As she sees Son with faithful eyes.

Through Jesus she adopts us all—
Her children to forever be—
Are rescued from Old Adam’s fall,
From sin and death to set us free.

To Jesus through His Mother go
All those who step through stable door,
Find Him whose love no boundaries knows:
In Him we’re rich with Spirits poor.

Mary, Mother of My Heart

Dear Mary, Mother of my heart,
Come enter me with Father’s Son
That He may to my heart impart
His love for you was first begun
In Garden fair so long ago
As soon as snake lured Eve away
And Father’s love to us He showed
In prophecy of Him, the Way,
For He will knock on my heart’s door
And ask me to invite Him in
So I may human heart adore
Of Him who saves us from our sin,
For human heart from Mary giv’n
Becomes in us the key to heav’n.

OUR TRUE MOTHER

O Mary, now our Mother be
For nature is so cruel;
And, yet, we try to nature see
As mother of our rules.

We “Mother Nature” glibly say,
And see ourselves her sons,
But fittest will survive her way:
The bone for toughest one.

Yet, stirring in us way down deep,
A thing not nature born,
And Mother Nature cannot keep
Our hearts from in us yearn.

We yearn to find a Mother who
Will hold us in her lap,
Will dry our tears and teach us, too–
With Father close the gap.

Our Father’s Son came unto her
On Holy Spirit’s breath;
Through her to us He came to care,
Save us from nature’s death.

And now our Mother is assumed
To side of her First-Born;
From Father’s house in His throne-room
She comforts all who mourn.

O, Mother Mary, thank you so
For your true Mother’s part;
Both now and when we heaven go,
You give us all your heart.
