New Tree of Life

His Blood has quenched the flaming sword
That barred us from the Tree of Life,
And Eden’s Tree has been transformed
By Him—brings light to Eden’s night.

His light removes the shade from death
Which now becomes His open door
To life beyond on Spirit’s breath
For those who come with spirits poor.

Those poor within will open be
To Spirit from the Father breathed
Through Him who we will always see
In Body, Blood to us bequeathed.

New Tree of Life with Body, Blood,
Appears on altar for us laid–
Becomes for us New Eden’s food
When words of Bridegroom for Him said–

For here we celebrate His feast
In Church, His Bride, that’s to Him wed
As He with each of us will meet,
And we’ll rise with Him from the dead.

Mary’s Immaculate “Yes”

Please come, O Mother of our Lord,
And through each one repeat your “yes,”
That we may with you all adore
The One who knows each of us best.

Through His atonement He knew you
Who were conceived Immaculate
To make our human nature new
With your miraculous consent.

And now may each be born again
With nature from you, Second Eve;
Made free from our First Adam’s sin
|No longer do we need to grieve.

For each of us can now breathe deep
Of heaven’s air makes Eden new;
Your Son from sin will all us keep
Through you, without sin He first knew.

MEMORIAL OF THE IMMACULATE HEART
OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

His Sacrifice Within

From Cross, by grace, His sacrifice
For every heart will come within
As on His Cross He paid the price:
Delivers us from all our sins.

Within is where we must be cleansed
That actions, words are made clean too,
As each of us becomes His lens
So others can through us Him view.

As poor in spirit we become,
With open hearts we welcome Him;
His Sacred Heart through His Cross comes
With life from Him who’s always been.

His Resurrection we can taste
As all the world is new we see,
And all around we see His face
In new creation comes to be.

His Risen Life comes through His Cross—
Creation at its heart transformed—
As we eat Body, Blood He lost
So we to Him can be conformed,

For we were lost but now are found—
Our hearts within are purified—
In Sacred Heart with Him we’re bound:
His Blood within us sanctifies.

SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS

Inner Vision Purified

My inner vision purify
That I may see Your whole
So truth no longer mystifies
     But heals my sin-sick soul.

For clarity is what I seek—
     Your wisdom deep within—
That I may hear as You repeat
|     Your truth that’s always been.

Through me in words may You shine light
     That dark may be dispelled,
And through my weakness show your might
     To sin and Satan quell.

And then when heaven draws us in,
     With angels we’ll sing praise;
Forever’s banished death and sin:
     With Jesus we’re all raised.

The Spirit’s Wind

Through sea of death You lead us, Lord,
And for our journey waters part
As we step in with feet are shod
With Your forgiveness You impart.

With Your Cross You now pile our sin
On both sides of the land we walk,
And leave behind who we have been
When listened we to Devil’s talk.

We find we tread on Holy Way
Kept dry from sin by Spirit’s wind
And listen to the words You say:
By Spirit’s breath we’re born again.

In holiness with Mary grow
And then smell freshness of the air:
With heaven’s perfume we now know
A fragrance from the flowers there.

Our Cornerstone

Our cornerstone has now been laid,
And on that stone He will re-build
Each human life for which He paid–
To build with nail-scarred hands are skilled.

Each new life is an open gate
Through which His Spirit enters each,
As freely inside gate we wait
For Him to come to truth us teach.

And with His truth His wisdom comes
To see together all that is,
For wisdom in Him is the sum
Of truth in love He to us gives.

Now each of us become one stone
Of tower He will raise on high,
And we will never be alone
As tower brings His heaven nigh.

Honey From The Rock

We’ve tasted honey from the Rock
That comes from Catholic Church’s hands
As in us each the door’s unlocked:
We welcome Him to us command,

For honey comes from wounded side
Of Him now risen from the dead,
And here He with us will abide
As with Himself we each are fed.

We all partake the joy of Him
Who died and rose for each of us
To give His Body free from sin
In all who in His Church will trust.

His Body, Blood, and human Soul
In Person with Divinity
Will heal our wounds and make us whole—
New persons, we’re at last set free.

Transformed

The wine you give to cheer our hearts
     Has Your own Blood become—
Gives life to all who’re Body’s parts;
     In us your Body comes.

Your risen life we can consume
    To give to world through us;
In each of us You have made room
     Through Mary’s heart that trusts.

Her nature in Yourself you take,
     Joined with your ‘gotten life–
Two natures now one Person make–
     In world brings heaven’s light.

When we receive Your Body, Blood,
     Our nature is transformed—
Submits to death on Holy Rood:
     New Creature in us born.

Then hand-in-hand with You we go
     To heaven’s destiny;
Each one of us you’ll always know
As you set each one free.

Our Father’s Well

Our Holy Mother is our Father’s well
Where Living Water springs forth from her womb
To water Eden’s East for us who fell
With Adam’s sin–deserve an earthly tomb.

Samaria is site were Son revealed
His Living Water–with the Spirit slakes
The thirst of all are by Baptism sealed–
Consent to let Him their own nature take.

The death He brings to nature ours is His
So He can give to us His nature new,
And then through each to others Himself gives
As through us all creation born anew.

His Holy Mother is the well for all
Who on Her Son and on His Father call.

The Visitation

Two mothers share an easy yoke
     When they together meet,
And babe of one by movement spoke
     As they each other greet.

Together their hearts now rejoice
     In Father and His Son,
For both now Mary lifts her voice,
And two will sing as one.

Two mothers, Son, and Prophet see
     That they’re together knit,
And old and new will as one be
     In Providential fit.

The Prophet, John, will go before
The Son who is the Way,
And Father knows what is in store
     When Prophet has his say.

Those mothers will together weep
When their sons meet their fate,
But Father’s love will in them keep
     Their hope that He’ll awake.

The Son of one will rise from dead,
     The other will live too,
For both their sons are Spirit-led
     And so are mothers two.
