His Human Will

Please, Jesus, let us have Your human will
Surrendered to Your Father by His son
That You may say to our hearts, “Peace, be still!”
As in us You have Satan’s cord undone.

For our wills have to Devil’s will been bound
And can be freed by You were never chained,
Who seeks the lost who now by You are found–
Unites our will to Father’s once again. 

Then we can know the freedom Eden gave
Restored by You with perfect human will
And with Your Mother’s nature You have saved
As she with You the hearts of all now fills. 

Forever may our wills with Yours unite
As You away cast darkness with Your light.
