O, Jesus, bound in swaddling clothe
And then bound for the cross;
In grave clothes swaddled in repose–
For us your own life lost.
O thank you, Mary, for your choice
To bear God’s only Son,
For in your choice you gave a voice
To Him who was unborn.
O, Jesus, raised from your dark tomb;
For those in womb please pray
That every womb be birthing room—
Each life see light of day.
May all of us see life as one,
All linked in human chain.
When unborn’s killed, we’re all undone—
Together bear the pain.
And when we all to glory go,
May all unborn we see,
As all are saved from this world’s woe
And in Christ’s life are free.
