Eternal Now

Let us not saddened be by things of time
But live in truth of Your eternal now
Where sense is found in all of heaven’s rhyme
And You with meaning all our lives endow.

May we surrender to Your truth revealed
In Jesus by Your Holy Trinity
Who our salvation with His Blood has sealed
As in our lives unfolds who we’re to be.

In heaven there awaits for each a place
We learn to fill here in time’s rolling tide,
For Resurrection makes for us a space
Both here and there–with families we’ll abide.

The tide of time alone won’t have its way;
Eternal now will have the final say.
