A holy temple He has made
For Son within to dwell,
A temple made without sin’s shade:
He’s our Emmanuel.
Her “yes” for us will welcome Him
Into our world of sin,
Born pure from her in Bethlehem:
In Him we’re born again.
For He will give Himself to us
That He may in us live,
And at His call we in Him trust:
New life to us He gives.
His human self from her has come
United with divine,
One Person in Him two become:
Our water changed to wine.
His Body, Blood, in Eucharist
Make each of us unique.
Forever in Him we exist:
Each one with no repeat.
Unique for Him, His Mother is
A model for each one,
For each through her has been made His:
Perfected in her Son.
