Ahead we see an open door
Raised high by priestly hand
That beckons us to come, adore,
And enter Promised Land.,
We take and eat and enters us
The One who’s’ come to save–
Transforms in Him our earthly dust
And raises us from grave.
For we’re too small to hold Him in
And in Himself He takes
Each one of us to free from sin:
A new creation makes.
That door through which we here can step
Is entry to His life;
We leave behind the tears we’ve wept
As we step into light.
