Come in my heart and be my guest;
I need Your Resurrection here,
For You know what for me is best,
And there You will make Your will clear.
I long for wisdom You can give—
To see the beauty of Your “all”—
And where I in Your beauty live,
My life’s beyond a funeral pall.
Your Word speaks truth to open ears,
Brings wisdom on your Spirit’s wind,
And life beyond Your grave is near
As we see what has always been.
For earth is now Your ante-room
Where we’re prepared for life beyond;
We leave behind the Devil’s gloom,
And to our sin You say, “Begone!”
For Your “all” has no place for sin
Or punishment for sin, our death,
For old through death is born again,
And we live on Your Spirit’s breath.
