At Pentecost our Mother welcomes all
To open hearts to Spirit, in each blows,
And with her listen to St. Gabriel’s call:
Be born again by heaven’s breath below.
Together we are Church on Peter’s Rock,
And Hell will not prevail against her gates,
As Devil tries to with his venom block
The Son of God who saves us from sin’s fate.
Our death He overcomes with Body, Blood
Shed for us, then again for us to rise
To come in Mass, transform our earthly food
Into Himself–defeats the Devil’s lies.
With Mary, we to Spirit should say “Yes”
And build our lives on Rock on which Church rests.
